Introduction to Blockchain at Sagarmatha Engineering College

On December 31st , 2021, eSatya successfully conducted an introduction to Blockchain Session at Sagarmatha Engineering College, Lalitpur. The session was organized by Sagarmatha Engineering College  and supported by Rumsan Group of Companies. Mr. Binod Chaudhary, Sr. Software Engineer at Rumsan, was the speaker for the session.

The session was attended by 57 Bachelor's level students from Sagarmatha Engineering College. The session lasted one hour and was quite interactive. Mr. Binod Chaudhary spoke on the blockchain technology that is used in bitcoin. He also talked about the overall history of blockchain technology, as well as numerous use cases and blockchain products like AgriClear, Bhoo.me, Rumsan Money, CertFYI, Rahat, AAVE, and OpenSea. He also clarified about certain blockchain-related myths. He also discussed how blockchain works, its data structure, layers, and different types of blockchain, as well as when to use it.

The session was wrapped up with an open networking session where the attendees were interested to know more about the blockchain and its usability in Nepal.
