Blockchain and Wallet Session at Presidential Graduate School

On July 19, 2024, eSatya hosted an engaging session titled "Understanding Blockchain Wallet" for first-year students at the Presidential Graduate School. The event attracted 48 enthusiastic participants and was led by Ms. Samjhana Karki, Community Coordinator at Rumsan along with Mr. Subhashish Jung Shah, a Full Stack Developer at Rumsan, serving as the keynote speaker.

Mr. Shah started the session by discussing the Evolution of Web 3.0, focusing on the significant changes in Internet technology. He then gave an informative overview of Blockchain, explaining the basic concepts behind this groundbreaking technology. The conversation later moved to Blockchain Data Structure, providing a thorough explanation of how data is managed and protected within the blockchain, and also covered DeFi.

Following that, Mr. Shah moved on to the topic related to the MetaMask wallet. He highlighted its popularity as a platform for interacting with decentralized applications (dApps) built on the blockchain. This was followed by a hands-on session demonstrating the functionalities of a blockchain wallet. Then he shifted towards introducing the concept of permissioned blockchains, which operate differently from public blockchains like Bitcoin and have specific rules governing participation.

The session effectively addressed common misconceptions about blockchain by debunking myths and presenting facts. It included an engaging Q&A segment, providing practical guidance for those starting their blockchain journey. Attendees received valuable insights and resources to enhance their understanding.

Overall, the session offered a concise yet comprehensive overview of the evolution of Web 3.0, blockchain, and the MetaMask Wallet, making it accessible to both beginners and enthusiasts.
