On August 9th, 2023, eSatya, in collaboration with Rato Bangala School, organized an informative Blockchain 101 Session that brought together a total of 160 students, along with a few faculty members. The event featured eSatya team members Mr. Mani Byanjankar and Ms. Amina Manandhar, with Mr. Byanjankar, a Full Stack Developer at Rumsan, leading the session. The audience comprised A-level students, contributing to a dynamic and engaging learning environment.
The event commenced with an introduction to eSatya by Miss Kaushalya Khadka, Associate Coordinator of A-Level. Following that, Ms. Amina introduced herself and passed the spotlight to Mr.Byanjankar.He began by introducing blockchain and highlighting the distinctions between Web 2.0 and Web 3.0. Mr. Mani delved into the value of blockchain and its wide-ranging applications in Nepal, covering areas like land registry, supply chain transparency, and identity management. He also debunked common misconceptions about blockchain and showcased instances of blockchain products in Nepal, with an emphasis on data decentralization.
Throughout the session, attendees actively engaged with Mr. Byanjankar through questions and interactive discussions. The overwhelmingly positive feedback received from participants underscored their keen interest in further exploring the implications of the blockchain revolution. This collaborative event between eSatya and Rato Bangla School provided an enlightening platform to underscore the potential of blockchain technology and its capacity to bring about transformative change in various sectors.
