Blockchain 101 at Valley Crime Division (Nepal Police)

The Nepal Police Crime Division approached our company, eSatya, for a session on blockchain technology. The session was led by our CEO, Santosh Shrestha, and was attended by 13 police personnel on 20th January,2023. The session, which lasted for 2 hours, aimed to provide an in-depth introduction to blockchain technology and its potential use cases.

 

During the session, Mr. Shrestha discussed the various features of blockchain technology that can be utilized to improve crime-solving capabilities. He explained how the decentralized and transparent nature of blockchain can be used to create secure and tamper-proof records, making it an ideal technology for a wide range of applications.

 

In addition to discussing the general benefits of blockchain, Mr. Shrestha also provided specific examples of how blockchain technology can be applied in different contexts. He discussed use cases such as supply chain management, digital identity verification, and voting systems. The session ended with a question and answer.

 

Overall, the session was intended to educate the police personnel on the potential use of blockchain technology and how it can improve trust and security in various industries, as well as assist the police in solving crimes more effectively.
