Web 3.0 Technical Series Vol#3 “Mass Adoption of Blockchain through Online Gaming and Digital Art”

On December 22, 2020, Blockchain Foundation Nepal hosted Web 3.0 Technical Series Vol#3 “Mass Adoption of Blockchain through Online Gaming and Digital Art”. The technical series was supported by eSatya, iBriz.ai, and Digital Notice, India   The series was conducted virtually via Google Meet and was also streamed live via eSatya’s and iBriz.ai’s Facebook page.The main objective of this technical series was to research the use of Blockchain Technology in Gaming Platform and exchanging views on Blockchain Development Tools. This series helped the participants on how 'Play to Earn' concepts in blockchain gaming are creating new opportunities for income generation which is very relevant during this time of Covid. The speakers for the session were from the iBriz.ai. The session was moderated by Ms. Ashmita Manandhar Shrestha – Community Manager, eSatya.The first speaker of the web series was Bijay Niraula, CEO of iBriz.ai.Mr. Niraula is a serial entrepreneur with a background in business management. He and his team shed light on the incredible impact of blockchain in all aspects of our lives, and also shared his idea on how mass adoption of blockchain could come from online gaming on blockchain.Mr. Ajay Mandal, Technical Product Lead, iBriz.ai talked on ‘f1 Delta Time’ and provided a demo of the game. Likewise, Ms. Anushka Sharma, Software Development intern, iBriz.ai shared her ideas on how mobile applications can be used for creating ‘Digital Art’ and Mr. Aavas Parajuli, Project Coordinator, iBriz.ai highlighted how to use blockchain for monetizing digital art in any e-commerce site. Finally, Mr. Asmit Bhantana, Software Development intern, iBriz.ai presented his ideas on the mass adoption of Blockchain through Online Gaming through a demo on ‘Animoca Game’.With the presence of more than 35 attendees, the technical series was wrapped up with an interesting interaction between the speakers and participants.
