The 30th meetup from eSatya was successfully held on 19th September, 2022. The meetup was entitled “Blockchain in Fintech”.The main purpose of our meetup is to let everyone know the Importance of Blockchain and it’s implementation in Fintech. The speakers for the meetup were Mr. Anant Avinashi and Mr. Pranamya Shakya. 

The first speaker for the session was Mr.Anant Avinashi, who is a FinTech professional specializing in Blockchain, DeFi and Cryptocurrencies with over 10 years of experience in IT and FinTech. Presently, he is working as a Product/Project Manager at Affinsys AI. He wants to create an optimum regulatory framework for Blockchain which allows people and companies to understand it better but without compromising on the required security..

The second speaker for the session was Mr.Pranamya Shakya, who is a Fin-tech Professional with background in Blockchain payments and tokenomics. Having worked in Token-forex platforms in Shanghai and Malaysia developing Strategies and algorithms on Solidity . He’s currently involved in projects and research at F1Soft and Beihang University, respectively . 

The meetup was moderated by Prabesh Adhikari. The meetup was supported by the CSIT Association of Nepal, Prime IT Club and Digital Notice Media Lab. It was hosted in the Zoom platform and was streamed live via eSatya’s Facebook page. 59 attendees attended the meetup in Zoom excluding the speakers and eSatya team and 8 people attended the meetup through eSatya’s Facebook page.

The session was followed by an interesting question and answer session where the participant’s queries were answered by both the speakers. The entire session was one hour long and was attended by various professionals, and students from Nepal.
