The 36th eSatya meetup was successfully conducted on 13th June, 2023, via Zoom on the topic “Redefining Aid Distribution with Blockchain Technology: Project Insights”. The main purpose of the meetup is that it  offers a unique opportunity to gain valuable knowledge about the potential of blockchain technology in revolutionizing aid distribution. The attendees will have the chance to learn from industry experts, engage in thought-provoking discussions, and expand your network with like-minded individuals.

Our first speaker for the meetup was Shristi Piya, the Chief Development Officer at Rumsan who has a strong background in spearheading impact driven blockchain projects. With a proven track record in effectively monitoring sales and successfully leading projects such as Rahat and Tayaba's recent blockchain based distribution of H20 Wheels, Shristi has become a key driving force behind Rumsan's development and growth.

Our Second Speaker for the meetup was Zoha Waqas is a Communications and Blockchain Research Associate at Tayaba Welfare International Association (TWIA). She have led Pakistan's pioneering digital currency and NFT-powered fundraising initiative, 'Savepakistan.crypto.' Currently, her focus is on integrating blockchain technology into TWIA's aid monitoring and distribution systems, with the goal of improving transparency and efficiency in our fundraising efforts.

The meetup was moderated by Ms. Amina Manandhar, which was supported by the Ethereum Support Program, CSIT Association of Nepal, Prime IT Club, Digital Notice and Media Lab. It was hosted on the online platform, Zoom. There were altogether 16 attendees from zoom and 10 from Fb live who attended the meetup.

The session was followed by an interesting question and answer session at the end where the participant’s queries were answered by the speakers. The entire session was one hour long and was attended by students, clubs and other professionals.
